I have cut several large sheets of ply with this and done some smaller jobs too and it works well. Comes with a good blade, which I haven’t needed to change.I suggest being careful not to let it Jamb, by letting a sheet bend over as you cut it, as that would cause the battery to run down quickly.

I’ve been slowly but surely replacing all my 230v Bosch Pro tools with 18v Bosch Pro tools and this was the last one!! Aarrrh! At last! Quieter, more control and way more useful when you’ve not got a power outlet any where near you!Being battery, it doesn’t ‘run on’ when you release the trigger, the 18v has an auto stop which is safer (as you can see, I let my son use it which I’ve never allowed with the mains saw before).Great bit of kit, especially when you’ve got a load of batteries & charger already.

I’ve had this saw 2 years, not used a lot as I’m a small time DIY’er. I got this one because it will use the track. Bosch/Mafell track design is the best and not by a small factor. This then is a poor mans track saw, ideally you want plunge capability, which this doesn’t have, but how often do you NEED that? The only thing I don’t like is the depth measurement, my poor old eyes struggle to read them. I ended up picking the digits out with a black felt pen. The track compatibility was the big draw and I have spent as much on the track/clamps and joiners as I did on the saw. It’s been brilliant when I have needed it.

This is an excellent circular saw. Having previously used a heavy corded saw this was a revelation. Safe, accurate and well made. I bought this particular model as it was guide compatible.

Great performance and being cordless its super flexible and easy to use.I allready had a few cordless Bosch professional tools having shifted from the standard green line. There is a definitive step up in performance and quality with the pro line, at a price…

This really is the cordless track/plunge saw I was hoping for.I’m an advanced DIYer who does renovations, rather than a tradesman, and I was willing to give up some power for the convenience of batteries, but I haven’t really felt it struggle with anything.Perhaps could get a cleaner cut with a corded Festool or Bosch when doing thick stock, like 38mm laminated counter-top, but it’s very minor. I suspect the corded two above would outperform it with thick hard woods > 25mm.I’m using the 4.0A batteries and they last longer than I expected.Plus with this you can saw down your sheet goods, accurately with a guide rail, in the Wickes car park, and fit your boards into your Ford Fiesta. It’s well made and solid. I’m really pleased with my purchase.

Quality Bosch Pro circle saw. It’s on there lower end in terms of spec and price but for everyday use it’s fine. Makes clean cuts and easy to set angle / depth etc.Would be nice if the guide rail went upto edge of the blade not 3cm off as would allow for tiny trim cuts. My older model did this!!! I know it can be fitted to the bosh guide but that’s another £90+
