Bosch Reciprocating Saw Blades Wood and Metal
The S 922 VF Flexible for Wood and Metal Reciprocating Saw Blade delivers effortless cuts in wood and metal. Its vario-tooth pitch geometry (1.8/2.6 mm) enables smooth, vibration-reduced cutting. Moreover, the BIM (bi-metal) blade is optimised to cut soft nails, mild steel materials and non-ferrous metal components embedded in wood. Featuring a standard length (150 mm), this reciprocating saw blade has a cutting capacity up to 100 mm. It features a 1/2 inch universal shank.

Kinda new to the recip saw, amazing tools. Started with a cheaper brand that sold 32 blades for £20. Wood blades were a slow cut and metal blades would snag and bend very easily. Thought i would try a more popular brand and bosch blades seem to be pretty good. Mostly used to rip apart some decking and some fencing for my landscaping work. Still on my first blade and seems it got a lot of life left in the blade. If anybody has any great blades they recommend for the wood cutting please let me know in the comments. Am happy with the bosch blades though, but i will try all of the others do see how they match

These blades as they are very strong and sharp. As well as the usual thing that they would be used for cutting timber etc. I have also used them to remove roots from private hedges and left over tree stumps, although they did bend during this task, but in the main they remain strong and straight. I always have a spare pack handy and can thoroughly recommend them

Well worth buying these at the same time you buy a recipricating saw. The ones that come with cheaper saws are very poor quality (the ones I had were poor for metal, they chipped immediately). I’ve tried these on metal and they cut a lot faster. The teeth will always chip if you don’t have your work piece secured properly, as with a reciprocating saw there is a lot of up and down and lateral movement. Good value pack (plus they cut wood effortlessly as well).

Cut thick old nails that held old corrugated roof in place. Then trimmed same nails flush to rafters. Cut all sorts of things. Quite flexible so can get in there, but as all these recip blades seems too flexible to allow for very straight cuts. Same problem as with old jigsaw. So circular saw it still is for straight cuts in new bits.

I needed a blade that worked with both wood and metal so I could disassemble some pallets without having to remove the nails. Did the job very well and I would recommend them.
