Great piece of kit, only wish it can with a ballade off some sort. Other that it’s done a great job of cutting slabs and shows no sign of failing yet. Well made so happy dats

Great ergonomics, fits really well in the hand because of how slim it is, the switch falls to hand.Cant be beaten for power to weight, size and quality ratio. In the world of battery grinders, these are still lighter and better if you are doing any lengthy or intensive work and a fraction of the priceWatch Dean Doherty repair video on youtube, his observations which count for a lot given he sees hundreds of machines in for repair. In case it’s useful to anyone, all my other grinders are Makita and the guard on this Bosch is not compatible which I had sort of assumed.Other random observations – no soft start but NVR, 2.5m cable, H05 rather than H07 grade but still feels very flexible

I also bought some steel cutting discs for cutting off a load of rusty screws. Made the job quick and easy. The only small gripe I have is the power cable could be a bit longer.

Great for grinding some metal we had did the job in no time

With the right blades this very well-made machine, cut through metal and masonry light butter. Make sure you buy the right size of discs!

I was a bit concerned about the lower rated 750 watt power when most of its contemporaries were 800 or 900 watt that it would be upto the job of stone paving cutting, but I needn’t have worried it was up to the job, nice and light and easy to use.

First likes, nice startup, smooth in operation small size for getting in tight places.Dislikes, power lead is an enormous pain in the a## it is very stiff, comes kinked out of the box and catches on everything. It is impossible to straighten. The last Bosch I had was significantly better with a rubberised lead, still a bit stiff but nothing like this. Considering the price I would have expected better. Personally it is let down by this and the guard and feels like a cheap and nasty not a quality item. Bosch can do better and have proved this in other items I have had from them. For the fabrication I am doing I need to remove the guard to get into the small spaces and removing it is a pain. Why can’t a lever system like other brands be used instead of having to unscrew it every time.Overall a few key failures detract from what should be a nice product.UPDATE.I never thought I would say this about a Bosch product but I wish I had bought something else.Just to change the angle on the guard you need to remove the grinding disc, then remove the handle (if you are using it as it interferes with the rotation of the wrench. I.e. it needs to be removed for the wrench to complete a circle) then get the supplied wrench and undo the guard bolt and rotate the guard to the required position. If you are moving the guard to better get at your work this quickly becomes tedious.I can easily see users becoming frustrated with this and removing the guard entirely
