What a fantastic saw, I use this on a site doing the finish carpentry on 90 apartments, power is hard to access, the site is hard to access, so it is excellent for this, I have lots of stairs and handrails to install, with the 216mm blade it cuts handrails beautifully, plenty of power and it is highly accurate, nicest saw I have ever used, can’t rate it high enough

The usual standard of German engineering!

I purchased this along with the Bosch GTA 2600 Mitre Saw Workbench. The Mitre Saw is very well built although I cannot for the life of me work out how to adjust the laser line even though there are instructions in the handbook and on line. Its currently adjusted so that you position the laser line just to the left of the cut line, which I have now got used to. I would recommend buying the saw stand, although I purchased it from Ebay where it was cheaper than Amazon. The stand is very well built also but makes using the saw very comfortable. I have ordered a 8Amp Battery for it but my 5AMp hr battery work well and gives good usage time.

I bought this saw after finding the dewalt 18v mitre saw underpowered. This saw is a better machine power wise even when using an 18v battery…no procore purchased yet.Very happy with it,perfect mitres out of the box and has a depth stop.Better machine than the DeWalt.*Update*I’ve now used the saw with a 5.5ah procore battery and it has transformed the power of it. It’s now just as powerful as a mains powered saw..Very impressed!

I bought this as in upgrade to my cheap mains powered mitre saw, and boy what a difference it makes. Cuts are smooth and accurate, and with it sliding you can cut much wider pieces of timber. It works with any of the Bosch Professional 18v batteries, but to get the most out of it you’d need to use the higher capacity ones i.e 5ah and above. It’s even better with the ProCore series of batteries. I use a 5.5ah ProCore. The carry handle is a nice feature, that make moving it around a lot easier. The dust bag probably wasn’t worth including though.

Was optimistic about the 18v, but with the 8ah core battery this saw is remarkable. I’m using it for kitchen fitting so will be brilliant for precision cutting.

I ordered an 18v battery powered Bosch mitre saw as I needed to use it a long way from a mains supply and was not too sure what to expect. Read all the reviews you like but you are never 100% sure until you try it!Well not only was I not disappointed but I was delighted and I do not say that often about power tools. More power than you would expect from a battery powered saw and amazingly accurate straight out of the box.Register online with Bosch and they extend the warranty to 3 years too.

Brilliant piece of kit! Works great and no more lugging transformers around on site. Still has great power from a 4amp battery!

I am a carpenter and have been for 10 years. I have a full bosch cordless kit and this would have been a nice addition.Taking it out the box, I could tell straight away it was not a quality saw. So I kept the box.All within a week of having it…I was carrying it and the (weak) dust guard of the laser snapped off, the trigger became faulty ( I thought maybe it’s just grease on the battery terminals, so cleaned them…but no… faulty trigger. Next I was cutting an mdf architrave and the offcut got wedged between the blade and the bed and bent the metal bed… I have never heard of this happening before. All of this in a week. Also the motor sounds rough. It has only 0-45 bevel really you need -5° to 50°The saw bed will hit the blade so you have to slide it out the way and then next time you use the bevel the side of the saw will hit it, so you move it again, and again.Other than that it’s a nice little sawI have sent it back and I don’t want another one.Honestly avoid this saw, I am also biast towards Bosch having so many tools, but this is the worst Bosch tool I have seen. I’m not sure where these good reviews came from. It resembles a Lidl park side saw. Not a £370 saw. I would pay £200 tops for this and be happy if it lasted 1 year…

Was little bit skeptic about cordless mitre saw but actually it’s great piece of kit. One I bought here died after 2nd cut (PCB electronic issue). I got replacement from Bosch repair service and this one working just fine.
