Driven by a 630 W motor, but with an ergonomic combination of shape, size and weight for easy handling, this professional mains-powered planer enables rapid work progress.
Accuracy and stability are aided by an enhanced base plate design and shoe adjustment system. Users also benefit from the BOSCH Wood Razor one-blade system, a lock-off switch and a spring-loaded park shoe.

I’ve bought a few brands in the past for more money but always come back to the Bosch professional range For my planer. No matter what experience you have had with other Bosch products (As with all brands it can vary over their ranges) these are bombproof & the only one to buy. my last one has survived At least Three years of planing Oak beams day in day out & is only being replaced because it looking a bit shabby & getting a bit noisy but still works fine. It’s been dropped more times than it should survive & Is Easy to maintain With brush belt & blade replacement . Don’t be fooled by the price these punch well above their weight.

I’ve had various electric planes since they were first sold… and have had a makita for past 20 years.It is looking rough so decided to treat myself… I looked at the new makita and also the Bosch professional… the reviews on the Bosch were better … saying that it did the job perfectly in one pass and has a better blade setup.Very true… I’m impressed and very happy with this.

Does a good job, smooth finish and quick. The supplied dust bag collects the bulk of the dust, but enough fine dust escapes to necessitate a good mask and clean-up afterwards.
