The DEWALT DCG405FN XR Brushless Grinder has a flat head design for access to acute angles. The powerful fan cooled motor is fitted with a mesh cover that provides additional motor protection by preventing dust being sucked through the motor. Its electronic clutch reduces the kickback reaction in the event of a pinch or stall. The 2 position side handle provides greater comfort and control whilst the rubber over mould provides enhanced grip and comfort. I wanted to update my old DeWalt 18v grinder. This long nose one came along at a reasonable price. It is nicely balanced with a 5amp battery attached, I get an expected run time per battery. The long nose bit really does help to get into places normal ones can’t. I’m very happy with it.

It’s great not being restricted with a power cable however it does use up battery life pretty quick so would advise at least 2 x 4 or 5 ah batteries depending upon the size of the job your doing. Only used it once so far and cut through, and dressed a 400 x 250 x 3mm box section with no problems. The Wheel guard swivels to different positions and the wheel can be locked for changing, and overall its quite light even with a 5ah battery on the end.
