Spark. Use it for fitting dwangs and framing for odd jobs and the obligatory DIY.l work. Not heavy usage but does the trick. Not going through boxes of nails weekly but not had many issues. Heard about the jamming issues but so far no real problem that I’ve not been able to get around. I take it if it’s getting dragged about site and heavy usage it’s causing problems. Noticed that when it was on rapid fire with the 90mm nails it jammed once or twice but took it off rapid and I’ve not had any issues. Only use the rapid setting for 50mm nails. But like I said. Not heavy use.

Myself and two other fellow joiners and an apprentice bought this gun. All 3 of them started to misfire repeatedly after 3 months of site work. To add insult to injury, Dewalt will not stand over the guarantee on this obviously flawed product. A Dewalt Rep told me I had fired over the 30000 nails the gun was guaranteed for therefore could nether return it or receive a refund. Which is ridiculous considering I would go through a box of nails containing 2500 nails in just a few days. The apprentice was told he was using the wrong nails, Any excuse it seems to renege on the guarantee. I ended up tossing mine in the site skip. Its cheep for a reason, you have been forewarned.

After 10000 nails the gun failed to push in a 90mm nail. I took it to a Dewalt service centre for a repair/service which they fail to tell you about when they sell this tool. £120 later and another 6 months of use the gun is misfiring again. Save yourself a good deal of money and time and don’t bother to buy this product. pasload quality, reliability a running cost far exceed this product.
