After spending a couple of hours watching a video on how to repair the lance on our old K2 without success he decided to but a new lance. Having read someone had bought a new one and it did not fit their old Karcher jet blaster he was a bit hesitant and of course it could have been the jet blaster was at fault not the lance. Anyway with Prime next day delivery it came. It took longer to connect the hose pipe and to connect to the electricity than to fit the new lance and it worked perfectly well. Some complain about the price but considering buying another generic make which might not work as good, or not work at all or not lasting long it was well worth the price. So he is now outside blasting away to his hearts content

My old rotating head gave up after many years of use. I thought about getting an aftermarket type lance, but decided on the genuine Kärcher one as the old one had given such good service. Cleaned all the front garden slabs, patios, stairs and walls today with ease. Apparently you need an adapter (sold separately) for “Trigger gun M (2002-2010)” which is part number 2.643-950.0

Bought to replace a failed dirt blaster lance (after many year), as this didn’t look like the original model was slightly worried that it wouldn’t be compatible with my old K2 compact, needn’t have worried as it worked just fine and I can go back to blasting dirt!!!

The product does not fit a K2 pressure washer with some handle configurations without an adaptor, so check carefully before you buy. The description doesn’t make this clear and until it arrives and find the pack has this clearly marked. The cost of this product plus an adaptor starts to get very expensive compared to buying a brand new machine that would include this as part of the kit. Why they don’t sell replacement parts for this lance is scandalous. I instead bought a cheaper version of this and it works well so far and saved me a lot of money.
