My K2 broke after 5 years service so upgraded to a K5. I bought a K4 but decided to swap it for the K5 and am glad I did. The ease of having one attachment, a reel for the hose etc makes all the difference.Today I washed two cars. It was effortless. I attached my snow foam attachment and it worked brilliantly. The setting on the pressure washer were easy to manoeuvre between. It was so much quicker and easier to wash the car using this – totally effortless. Sitting in the shed, it’s neatly put away, no cables or wires spread out across the floor. Perfect bit of kit.Worth noting this has a 3 year warranty vs the 2 years you get with the K4.Highly recommended.

Delighted with the results of this purchase. It’s somewhat of a curate’s egg however, with issues to be overcome, so only 4 stars.Assembly: not an easy task! The instructions were poorly printed and brief. It was impossible to understand some of the illustrations. Well into the written instructions, you were advised to download the app, which I dutifully did, and hey, dramatically better pictures of the assembly. I’d have saved a lot of time I guess if I’d been told to download the app initially. Anyway, now all secure and seems solid. Chat line lady receptive to my suggestions however, a good point.Bluetooth pairing: impossible. Apparently, there’s a problem with the app (very helpful chat on the Kaercher website) and it is to be upgraded. Could I not have been told that before wasting time again? Perhaps a note in the box or a note on the website/in the app when you register.In use: just brilliant. Much better than I’d anticipated. I did have a generic pressure washer before, but this one is chalk and cheese! (Even without the app…) Pretty easy to connect up to power and hose. Fairly obvious how to control, although lack of tactile feedback on the control buttons is a bit of a disadvantage. Powerful and controllable stream. Cleaned substantially more effectively than expected on the paving area selected to try it out.With patio cleaner T5 T- surface-cleaner: absolutely brilliant. Trivially easy to clean the stones, even without using the detergent supplied. I’m sure the picture will illustrate the bits that have been cleaned and the bits that haven’t!Accessories: many more than you might have considered, and some very clever bits of kit.Overall, a very good purchase which will reduce the chance of our slipping on algae-covered stone slabs!

I needed to upgrade an old K4 model which was good but the cables (too short and no where to store them) were very annoying – and initially I was a little put off by the reviews talking about the complexity of the instructions but I didn’t need to have been.Once the washer arrived I downloaded the Karcher App and scanned the QR code, which registered the product but more importantly showed me a step by step set up guide, which was totally fine to follow.The washer itself is slightly quieter than by old one, and is SO powerful. It’s easy to use, had great results and the cables (nice and long) have somewhere to go when not in use.Totally recommended.

Its hard not to like a Karcher as they really are the best pressure washers. This is my 3rd one. Upgraded.I did have a problem in that one of the wheels broke when I rolled it down a small step in my garden. They could’nt supply me with wheel so offered to replace whole machine. Cant be assed with that so I bought a new spare wheel. I’m not so sure about all the App stuff. Downloaded it but not used any of it.The only thing I’m struggling with is the coiled up hose. It’s too stiff a hose to coil up easily. Unless someone knows a better way. My daughter borrowed it to do her drive way and replaced the hose for me with one that was reccommeded to fold up easier and it does. Plus its longer. This is the only negative about it. Its a Karcher, you get what you pay for.
