Living in a flat we’ve always had to go to a car wash to wet wash our car, or do a ‘dry’ wash at home (no rinsing). This gadget is compact when collapsed and you can give an SUV a good hose down about 4 times on one charge. It has a medium flow which is enough but isn’t comparable to a normal pressure washer. Very useful – glad we got it.

Very happy with my purchase, it does exactly as advertised.

This is an amazing piece of kit and perfect when away from a traditional power source. I enjoy outdoor pursuits including paddle boarding, mountain biking and hiking. I always like to wash any equipment after use, and this either involved washing it from a bucket with a sponge or doing it when I got home using my power washer there. Neither were ideal as it could mean putting muddy or salty equipment in the car and in the case of my inflatable paddle board re-inflating it once home. This is where the portable jet wash is so convenient, as I can take it anywhere even with no power source and because it is collapsable it doesn’t take up much space. For obvious reasons this isn’t as powerful as a mains powered one, so don’t expect it to replace one, but for certain scenarios like mine it is a great time saver and a complete game changer. It does struggle with particularly stubborn or dried on mud/dirt but certainly cleans the majority off and salt deposits are easily removed. If you need a portable jet wash then I highly recommend this and being made by Karcher you can expect the same high quality and standards as all their other products.

Awesome! As expected from Kärcher, this is a well-made and thoughtfully-designed little machine for outdoor cleaning. The materials are obviously high quality, and the cleaner looks very slick. Literally all the packaging is fully recyclable, which is great. This is a wireless device, which I charged via a high speed USB-C cable within one hour; there’s a green indicator light that switches off when it’s fully charged (I haven’t used it long enough to get an idea of how long the battery lasts, though). A USB-C cable and UK plug adapter are included in the box. Also, something worth mentioning is that there is a sturdy rubber cover that protects the charging port from any splashes during use.The bucket has a foldable design and collapses beautifully into a very compact square, with space at the top for the spray nozzle and hose. To prepare it, you just take off the lid, remove the nozzle and hose, press down into the bucket, and pull up on the handle—this will unfold the bucket, which stands solidly once it’s in the upright position. Then you fill the whole thing with water and replace the lid; there’s a space in the lid for the hose to come out that can also be used to pour out any remaining water when you’ve finished using it. The carrying handle is very sturdy, and the entire machine is light. To use it, you just press the big power button on the front and then hold the trigger on the nozzle. The trigger is comfortably designed and easy to press. The spray will stop once you let go. I feel like the noise levels are quite low for a machine like this, and there is no sound at all unless you are holding the trigger. Once the device hasn’t been used for 30 minutes, it will switch itself fully off.As it’s a compact wireless device, this is obviously nowhere near as powerful as a regular jet washer; but if you go up close then you can definitely get some good results (I was able to clean dirt and bird droppings off the tiles in my yard without any issues). This isn’t particularly effective from further away, so be aware that you’ll need to be physically mobile enough to bend and get close to what you’re cleaning (keeping in mind that I used this without any detergent, so adding that might help with the overall process and results). So, I’m pleased with this device, which is going to be very useful for blasting away any outside messes. The fact that it is wireless and folds down to such a small size is a huge bonus! But, if you’re looking to strip clean your paving stones or something to that effect, be aware that this portable cleaner isn’t a replacement for a regular jet washer (so probably not the tool for you in that context).

A rechargeable sprayer with collapsable bucket. This is not something I have come across before but I can imagine a fair number of applications. There’s not much in the box apart from the device itself, a charging cable and a plug-in charger. The collapsible bucket extends easily and the hose is permanently attached inside the bucket at the bottom.Operation is simple. Pressing the on switch…. turns it on and pulling the trigger activates the pump which draws water through and sprays out through the nozzle. The spray is quite fine and the pressure is not very high at 21 bars (pressure washers start at about 110). You would expect this though because the reservoir is not huge (8 litres) and as such, in order to get a useful length of time washing whatever it is you are washing, the flow needs to be restricted. Also, this runs off of a rechargeable lithium battery which would run done much quicker if the pressure were higher. So, expectations need to be managed here and you need to understand what you are hoping to achieve with this. To my mind it brings a constant flow of water to your operation. If your activity involves cleaning then you are going to have to do most of the heavy lifting because the jet is simply not powerful enough to remove stuck on dirt. I have used this to wet the surface I want to clean and to then rinse the surface after cleaning. Used in this way it is very practical. Sometimes I don’t want to run the entirety of my garden hose out to the garages crossing paths etc and this portable pump bucket is a great solution to cleaning my car. I have also used it to water my plant containers although this is only in emergencies as I normally use rain water from my butts. It’s good around the house. If you want to take it elsewhere then you’ll have to take water with in separate sealed containers unless there is a supply at your destination.
