Read the reviews. Asked myself do I really need one? As ive managed now for 30 years without one. Anyway took the plunge and brought one. Oh my goodness its fantastic. Very well made, well balanced in the hand. Has a concealed allen key in the handle for changing the blade which is a nice touch. Comes with 2 blades a metal one and a wood one both very sharp. I would recommend removing the battery when changing the blade in case the machine comes to life and cuts your fingers. I now have this as a permanent feature on my work bench. So when i need to cut some metal bar or tube its a piece of cake. Also you can use this in an upright position as a type of jigsaw as its got a secondary power switch along the bottom of the body of the saw. Battery lasts quite a long time, ive even purchased a long blade for pruning the tree branched in the garden. I should have brought one of these years ago. A1+

Great tool . Purchased to help dismantle an old shed. Done the job with ease. Purchased additional blades as only get 2 in the box which are a bit on the short side.

After a few uses of this tool i have found it to be ok, suitable for light to medium work.Being light weight and small it is perfect for tight spaces which would cause you problems with a manual saw such as under counter tops or inside cars.DO NOT buy cheap saw attachments for this tool as it will struggle. Using cheap or wrong attachments will cause it to vibrate badly and even stop. It only has a small motor so good quality attachments should be a must to get best performance.Comes with a metal saw and wood saw attachment so you can start right away.Only bad thing is the trigger safety button on the pistol grip, must be held in order to pull trigger.

Very nice little tool bought it to replace a jigsaw that was stolen as I didn’t use the jigsaw very often due to lack of power decided to buy this battery unit. Only just used it and it works very well. A bit slow but does the job

Really good, very handy to get into places the bigger rip saw can’t, I’ve used this a good few times now and am really happy with it. I use this one more than my bigger Makita rip saw.Still going strong

Depending on the workload, it’s good for smaller jobs or jobs that you don’t have to do in a hurry. Will smoke if overused.Still worth it, quick and simple

I purchased this saw as hand sawing was getting hard for me. It is excellent. I already had a battery for my drill which fits this saw. It is easy to put the blade in and cuts well. What more could you ask for? A bargain compared to other saws

As a tool its well made. However the cycle of movement is not enough. I ended up getting a normal saw out to finish the job.All in all great quality, but it doesn’t do the job. Also the battery version drama I had to get the right one was unwelcomed. It has to be their own brand, which sucks. It would have been nice to make it clear that generic batteries WILL NOT work with this. Not a great brand experience to be honest. A lot of faff and in the end it didn’t even do the job I wanted it for.

Great for pipes especially plastic, Smaller timber. Use shorter blades, they seem to be better. Great light tool. Value for money is low as for the same money you can buy a big reciprocal saw, not sure why I bought this one now instead of a bigger one. Its handy and small.
