This is a big leap up from the last Makita model. Balance is perfect, the handle grip is a nice size (unlike it’s predecessor) and the unit vibration is virtually non existent. However, the two negative aspects of this unit are: the securing pin for the tool is not the best out there especially when your fingers are cold or wet. It is easily lost from on high scaffolding through the board gaps never to be seen again. And the cost of the Star-lock tools are still very high.Overall though this unit is a top class tool just don’t lend it out to your mates as they might not give it back it’s so good.

Didn’t realise how much I needed one of these until I got one. Always thought I’d never use it enough but since buying it I’ve used it for everything. It is so easy to change the blades/tool and you can position it at different angles to get access to everything. It has made so many jobs so much quicker and easier. I don’t know how I have managed so long without one.

Updated my multi tool and wow what a difference. Performance and build quality is to Makita’s normal exceptionally high standard. Can’t fault anything, sits well in the hand and comfortably over extended use.

My husband has had this for a few weeks now and keeps saying he wishes he had bought one sooner. We are on our second home renovation project and he says what a difference having a multi tool now versus not having one for the last house. So many fiddly jobs have become light work with this. Also glad we chose the next model up because this one is powerful and no concern for the blades to fall out like I read on reviews for the slightly cheaper model. Will definitely get our moneys worth out of this. We purchased the Bosch kit to use with this because it had a good variety of blade/cutter options and was reasonably priced. 5 stars – would buy it again!

Great tool whilst i had it shame my van got broken into and it got stolen but someone out there has a great multi-tool

4 stars from me due to the high price and the inability to use OIS bits, when I’d purchased this originally there was a third party company that made an adapter so that OIS bit’s could also be used, however it appears that you can no longer get them.Of course when using starlock bit’s as this tool is intended it performs really well, the antivibration mechanisms make it really comfortable to use for an extended period of time, and the starlock bit’s are generally of better quality so last a fair bit longer.

It’s the best Makita I ever bought, you might think we don’t need, but after you have it, you will realise how much this multitool would do it for you, recommmended.

I have a Fein ( which failed after little use) a 240v Festool ( which is great!) and workmates use Milwaukee (ok but loud)and older Makita models (lot of vibration and loud) This Multitool is excellent, very quiet with next to no vibration. A great purchase.

Barly any vibration…I love it!

Execelente herramienta
Excelente herramienta, muy potente, no es tan pesada, la vibración no se siente lo que ayuda a mejorar los cortes, estoy muy contento con la compra
