Wow, I am absolutely blown away by the Ryobi ONE+ R18DD3-0 18V Cordless Compact Drill! This tool has completely exceeded my expectations in every way possible.First and foremost, the controllability of this drill is unparalleled. The variable speed trigger allows for precise control, making it effortless to tackle a wide range of drilling tasks with ease. Whether I’m working on delicate woodworking projects or heavy-duty construction jobs, I always feel confident and in control with this drill in my hands.Speaking of power, this compact drill packs quite a punch! Despite its small size, it delivers impressive torque and speed, effortlessly driving screws and drilling through tough materials like wood and metal. It’s truly a powerhouse that never fails to get the job done.Functionality-wise, this drill is a dream to use. The ergonomic design fits comfortably in my hand, reducing fatigue during extended use. Plus, the built-in LED light is an absolute game-changer, illuminating dark workspaces and providing much-needed visibility in tight corners. One of the best features of this drill is its compatibility with the rest of the Ryobi OnePlus range. As a proud owner of several Ryobi tools, I love the convenience of being able to swap batteries between my tools without skipping a beat. It’s incredibly versatile and makes my workflow so much smoother. In conclusion, the Ryobi ONE+ R18DD3-0 18V Cordless Compact Drill is hands down the best drill I’ve ever used. With its controllability, power, functionality, and compatibility with the Ryobi OnePlus range, it’s a five-star tool that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a reliable and versatile drill.

I like Ryobi products, they are bright, efficient and good value for money. I am a diyer (diyist?). I am retired and like to do household projects and generally make stuff. All my later power tools are Ryobi and they have all been good buys. This is a plain old cordless drill (non-hammer) and it suits me down to the ground, it is handy, and uses the same battery as all the other tools in the Ryobi range. If I could afford it, would I buy DeWalt or Festool, not a chance, unless they magically made me into a better diyer! I’ll leave those tools with their high costs to the professionals.

Have many Ryobi products – but I prefer the standard drill rather than the brushless.. My old Brushless has an electronic fault. This is less likely to go wrong.Superb products nevertheless

A quality drill driver. Good controllable torque with a nicely weighted variable power trigger so can put in screws with a delicate touch if necessary – but also has the grunt for when a good old twist is needed. With the 2 speed mechanical gearbox it can drill at high speed too. Nicely cushioned grip to reduce fatigue on those hard work days. Ryobi’s own brand batteries are a bit pricey but way better than the knockoff silly high power rubbish you see. Unless you do nothing but screwing & drilling all day – day in day out – a couple of 1.3 amp batteries are perfect and make the drill better balanced too. Recommended

Fit for purpose. Just hope it lasts longer than the last one I had

Good all round drill with screwdriver capability as well. Perfect for home DIY. Easy to attach drill and screw bits. Get a 4 or 5 level battery and plenty of power. Even with battery it’s a well-balanced drill.

I bought these as we’re on offer and my old Makita was pretty much dead. This is a great drill however noticed that the small drill bit that comes attached keeps falling out, the chuck doesn’t lock properly and the drill bits sometimes come loose. Also the battery life is pretty poor I’ve found. One time I only drilled 13 screws and it was dead after a full charge. (Other times it’s been alright but not as expected). For what I need these are great but for a professional I’d recommend getting a dwalt or Makita.

This item seems like a ryobi drill but came in very suspicious packaging not in a ryobi box no polistyrene packaging whatsoever just the drill and instructions. The the drill was just rattling around in a plain box in inside a plain bag whats that about ???

After 18 months 2 years of only light maintenance work around my property, drilling the odd hole and using for assembly on furniture my drill has stopped working.Ok I know I have had it a period of time and ok if I was a heavy user I would expect this to eventually happen, but no I have only used it for light work. I am very disappointed as buying this brand you would think that it would last a lot longer than 18 months. So my review is not favourable for this popular well known brand.Buyer be ware.
