I love my Ryobi drill/driver – I use it for everything. Battery seems to last for several hours of use. I love the little light to see what you are doing. Just seemed to be a cheap tool when I bought it but actually for me feels like quality. Not sure how long it will last but for now thumbs up Ryobi.

Really nice drill for the price Been using it everyday since I bought it and it’s doing the jobs I needed it for .

I use it mainly around the house. A nice and versatile piece to have in your toolbox. The only thing that i found a little strange is that when you put the drill in the position 2 when it stops from turning it sounds metallic. Like braking steel on steel with a washer loose. Anyone else noticed that? The rest A+++ on the design and ease of use.

After lots of searching and advice I settled on this one. Great gift for the significant other. It’s a Christmas present but he has seen and checked it out! He’s happy!

Good balanced weight and reasonably compact for the power it delivers. Feels nice to use and seems fairly robust. Gripe I have is with Ryobi as a company since I purchased this as part of a promotion they were running (12 tools of Xmas). Although they stated I’d receive a chosen tool around 14 days later, it’s been 2 months and still nothings arrived. So if you ever buy anything from them on the back of a promo, be prepared. Hopefully, I’ll receive what’s been promised but I’m not sure it’s ever going to arrive!? Which is a real shame for their credibility – hence only 4 stars.

I am well impressed with how lightweight it is for something with so much thickness. I have to say it is well value for the money. I would have given more stars if they were available.

A very kind friend did some research for me. I wanted a drill with a bit of ‘welly’ and a screwdriver that would keep going for a lot longer than my much cheaper one – and combined in one tool.So far, I have used this for both drilling and as a screwdriver and it had been impressive. It is early days yet but I’m hopeful that this will remain a favourite. I use it primarily to assemble flat-packed furniture and for doing odd jobs and repairs, so it doesn’t get heavy use.

This is my 3rd or 4th ryobi drill,i use them all day everyday & they have yet to let me down, this was in the amazon werehouse & the discription said they was a couple scratches on the rear, knowing how i treat them this wasnt an issue for me so i bought it,When i got it the damage was on the toolbag, drill was it free of damage, having said that it has been used, the screwdriver bit you get was worn.think getting a drill for just over half price i will cope with that.

This was my first Ryobi tool and it’s had mostly light use except for using it to drill 16mm holes to wall mount a pull up bar in the garage with 115mm long Rawl bolts. There’s a reasonable amount of power and it’s been better than I expected for the price. With a 5ah battery it was doing a better job than my cheap corded drill.Exactly a week after the Standard 1 year warranty my chuck has decided to give up, this is a replaceable part but it is disappointing after just over a year of use. Make sure you register for the 3 year warranty, I forgot to but have with every other tool and battery.I have no problems with the grip, buttons or weight distribution with a larger battery. Battery life is good and a smaller battery last a fair while for easier jobs. It would be unfair to compare it to more expensive professional grade drills. For DIY it should serve your needs well, while I feel my chuck gave out early, I would still purchase another Ryobi drill but a brushless version. An upgrade to a better chuck is worthwhile but I expect it would cause warranty issues if still covered.

Ryobi R18DD3-120S One Plus Cordless Drill is a a fantastic bit of kit. Have a major garden project so decided to buy this Ryobi R18DD3-120S One Plus Cordless Drill Driver Starter Kit. Packaged well, nice bag comes with it and not just the tool but battery and charger. Fantastic right? So far yes. Purchased around 22nd June this has been a tool in constant use for building and assembling fencing and a pergola. Had to use coach bolts to secure gravel boards so purchased drill bit set. This kit managed to power through galvanised steel and a fence post without breaking sweat. Incredible. Lots of fixing fence panels and clips, so the so powered through securing fence with screws. An absolute marvel. Easy to use, light weight and a handy light when it started to get dark, this has been a much valued purchase. Why only 3 stars In hear you ask? I purchased this around 22nd June. On 21st Aug the battery failed. Charger is fine as I tested with another battery. In two months the batter to have expired so early is a disaster. Both lights on charging units indicate the battery has become a dud. Pretty displeased with this outcome. Not quite the value for money I had hoped would be the outcome.Would I buy another Ryobi tool, absolutely. Attaching the one plus battery process is perfect and works really well. Since this have purchased a circular saw and a light weight mower. It makes sense to purchase the one plus range of tools as the one plus battery just works with all of them so far.
