Ryobi R18IDP-120S 18V ONE+ Cordless Impact Driver Starter Kit Part of the ONE+ system of cordless tools for the home and garden, the Ryobi R18IDP-120S is a high-powered impact driver ideal for screwing and loosening larger screws/bolts. The motor delivers 170Nm of torque, to easily drive long screws and nuts. The keyless 6.35mm (1/4″”) hex drive allows for easy bit changes.
The R18IDP-120S is sold with 1 x 2.0Ah battery and a charger, compatible with the full 18V ONE+ range.

The Muddy Allotment –
This is the first time that I’ve used an impact driver and I know now I should have got one years ago.This does not have switch power settings but for light work lightly depress the trigger and for bigger jobs squeeze it right through. It isn’t sensitive so you’ll not overcook the work you’re doing.Haven’t had a problem yet with any tasks I’ve tried so far.I find this driver to be nicely weighted and well balanced. This is definitely a well made solid product that was worth the spend.A feature I like is the magnet on the top of the unit above the battery base for holding your screws (or other bits). A lot handier than reaching or digging into a pocket.The kit bag is well constructed and I’m sure it will last well. An internal pouch would have been appreciated but it’s not needed. It will definitely hold a case of screwdriver bits easily and some other items too.I’m pleased with this purchase.

I love it. Been doing plenty of DIY during lockdown and this is now my favourite tool ( well, for screwing things in it is anyway – clearly everyone’s actual favourite is a hammer). Purchased some proper impact bits and never looked back. Very happy with the product and the quality of Ryobi overall. Certainly plan on purchasing more of their items if this is a fair example and the One Battery systems is genius.
The Questionable Shredder –
This is a starter kit and so what you get is a fairly basic impact driver, (i.e no Torque settings, no workpiece illumination LED’s and a brushed motor) 2.0Ah battery, 1x Pozi bit, 1x Torx bit, a socket drive, charger & bag.It is however absolutely fine for the average non trade user unless you are expecting to drive really big fixings or do a whole deck in one go.Note that as with all cordless tools (I) using a bigger battery (4.0 or 5Ah for preference) really steps up the general capacity to do stuff, not just endurance and (ii) makers earn huge, huge margins on selling new or extra OEM batteries. Battery packs tend to be just varying configurations of 18650 Lithium Ion cells and a control circuit, so a decent compatible aftermarket battery pack made using Samsung, Sony or LG cells can be less than half the price of the branded ones. with little real world difference in performance.

Having recently converted to the church of drill driver for drilling and impactor for putting in the screws this thing has been a beast. Drives a dozen times more screws than a drill driver for one charge.Nice weight and powerful. Comfortable to use for ages as well.

Love this, so much better than getting another drill. Great for all sorts of diy projects, shelves, sheds etcIf you’re a bit more serious (building a deck or something large) well worth getting a 4 or 5 ah battery. But 2ah is fine for smaller projects.

Cant believe I waited so long to buy an impact screwdriver!Tool is well made.2ah is fairly small but fine.Only thing I will say is that the impact is extremely loud!
