Bought for husband who has arthritis in knee , 63 years old and a plumber/joiner. Took a punt with these after reading reviews as they are dear, but they are very robust with a great warranty. There is plenty of cushioning to keep the knee comfortable with the added protection of a hard shell outer. They have not slipped down when wearing and not caused blood flow restrictions by having to pull the straps tight to keep in place. Hubby is 20 stone in weight so very robust fit and functional to wear. Would recommend investing in these knee protectors

So these have been on my list the longest not for no other reason than I am very particular. They have turned up at last and are perhaps a lot bigger than expected but nevertheless a very nice polished bit ok kit, happy I waited and even happier about the whole construction of the item. They feel comfortable and the construct will provide lasting protection for yrs.

These knee pads are very comfortable on the knee however they have actually given me scars on the back of my calf, where they have been pinching and rubbing, shame for knee pads that are at the higher end of the price range.
