The Ceiling Man –
I’ve used Toughbuilt sawhorses before and never been let down, but the c700 are the best by far. These are seriously good quality saw horses with some great, well thought out features. The leg flaps to stand board on are ideal for marking out and cutting plasterboard or ply when there isn’t the room to set a full bench up, whilst the top flaps make cutting 4×2 or batten a breeze. The clamps for holdig 4×2 to make a full bench lock well and can be raised to work with a sacrificial timber or a 2×2.The height adjusts separately on each leg, so it can set up on the most uneven surface. But the main thing is the sturdiness. These are as solid as they come! Really, well built and from what I can see, no flimsy bits in vital places that can break and cause wobbling or collapsing! (I’m looking at you here Stanley!)One thing that may be considered a negative to some is the weight. Because of the build quality, they are understandably heavy. Much heavier than any others I’ve come across. To me, this isn’t an issue in the slightest (hence the full 5 stars), but if you’re after light weight, this may be something to consider. In my opinion, these are currently the best on the market. Fantastic bit of kit!

Ive edited up from 4 to 5 stars because although theyre heavy, once assembled, they seem easier to manouver and the chaps are very pleased with them, theyre used often and said to be excellent quality.I bought the most expensive version of these, they’re the most adjustable and strongest but boy are they heavy, it actually makes them barely portable. Each does have a little plastic carry handle which I hope lasts as it’s just a stip of plastic riveted on. I bought these for my day as we always use homemade A frames to rest tops on outside the workshop and I wanted somethign ebtter for him but I can see these probably won’t ever get used. I wish I’d bought the less heavy duty pones now and hope others will consider that when purchasing. They not handy things you just grab and knock up but inside a worksroom they’re sturedy enough to be a permanent table. Very heavy duty and look well made but haven’t been used and probably never will.

I bought a pair of C700 saw horses and I have to say that they are as “solid as a rock”.How I ever managed by balancing full sheets of MDF and ply across a pair of dustbins (or whatever else came to hand) when cutting them up (and for so many years!) is beyond belief. These saw horses look like they will last a lifetime and they have made a difficult job really easy – not to mention a lot safer too!The C700 saw horses open and collapse quickly and easily and can be adjusted for height. Strip wood (such as 4 x 2) can be added to each side to stabilise these saw horses even further at fixed centres if required. The sliding clamps used to hold these strips in place make the exact size of the individual wood strip used for these braces less critical (unlike some rival types that need a specific size to slot into fixed size recess’s).These C700 saw horses will make a very good addition to anyones tool kit that can be strongly recommended by somebody who has lived without them for far too long!

Can’t believe how versatile these are I got some scaffold boards and made a large table for food for our guest when we had garden party once lockdown was over. Also used with scaffold board as massive work bench whilst building bedroom wardrobe frames.great to use yet again with scaffold boards when needed a safe working hight to trim 8ft hedge and the best bit they fold away and hang in my shed.Yes these are expensive and I thought long and hard before making that jump and spending so much on something I thought I might use a couple of times a year but in my case they were well worth there weight in gold 👍🏼

I am very pleased with the tough build saw horses, I was looking for a Workbench, but when I came across these and started to read the reviews, that how strong and we’ll made they are I decided to take a a punt on buying them, and I must say that I’m not disappointed. There heavy, but really well made and look like they will last forever. Also they have nice little design features that make holding and cutting wood very helpful. They fold down for easy storage and portability. I’m sure like me you would be very happy with the toughbuilt saw horses.

they’re great !I thought at first this could be a big let down as very expensive, that said these things are like military spec. they way they collapse is very nice and once up, they’re brill. my first use was to pop 10 sheets of 18mm marine ply (full size) on them and cut on them and also assemble on them and they just don’t budge. they’re like a very sturdy work bench, I have used the link arms (on outer edge) and braced them with two lengths of 2×2 which I’m sure assists the sturdiness and when you want to remove you just undo the thumb clamp and remove your braces and collapse them again.I am a bit of a tool nerd but that said I love em !

Initially I balked at the price, two saw horses over a hundred pounds…..? When they arrived and after setting them up for use, I was genuinely surprised at how good these things are, sturdy, solid and exceptionally well built, whoever designed this product placed a lot of thought into the needs of the end user, I can envisage many years of use out of them probably outlasting me. It’s very rare that I write any sort of a review but on this occasion I feel the product merits one. Excellent piece of kit.
